Remco is business developer, community builder and serial entrepreneur. His talent is creating movement. He is enthusiastic, open-minded and always looking for new ways to accomplish goals.
He believes that work should be fun and that the individual as well as the organisation profit when talent is recognized and put in first row.
After Remco graduated in psychology he had several roles as consultant, hr business partner and manager. In 2009 he started with HRcommunity, connecting people with a passion for the human resource development profession. In a few years 80,000 professionals became member of this community. Working on community building also means experimenting with new ways of working en co-creating. Remco likes to share his vision and experiences. On stage, as speaker, or as advisor for companies who would like to know more about the principles of community building. Remco wrote several articles and contributed to two books.
Connecting professionals became second nature, community building is in the veins. Contributing to a better world and leaving a legacy is the mission. In 2017 he started with Zorgcommunity and founded his own software agency.
Everything i do has to contribute to connecting professionals, professional development and more joy in the workplace. People, planet, pleasure and purpose... which will lead to profit.
In 2017 Remco founded a software agency. It develops community software and contributes to productivity, efficiency and engagement. Associations and communities can use the software to publish content and improve cohesion.
In 2009 he founded HRcommunity, connecting hr professionals. In a few years it became the largest community for hr in The Netherlands, with a strong social dna. In 2017 Zorgcommunity was launched, where healthcare professionals can share insights. In 2019 a community for the education sector will start.
Remco likes to share his experiences. And he loves to challenge people on his vision about the changing world of work. Although business development and community builder are his main focus, Remco can be booked as speaker.
A lot of companies would like to work community based, only some know how. Just a few succeed. Remco is willing to think with you. Only if you are truly dedicated and willing to go for it!

Managed the department which was responsible for the AOW. Member of the management team in Utrecht. Raised quality, handling speed and client satisfaction rates.

Implemented six projects. Developed an HR dashboard, performancesystem, compentence management, arbo and employability policies.

Worked on selection and development assessmentsas well as 360 feedback coaching. Built and implemented talent and leadership development programs for several large clients.

Learning is most effective in real life on the job, by doing. I like to experiment, implement, reflect and act. By being connected to the internet and relevant others i develop, or deepen, my skills, on the fly. Some call that action learning.
